Your Role
As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you’ll play a key role in bringing precision parts to life. You’ll be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathe machines to meet high-quality standards. Working with close tolerances, you’ll ensure every part produced meets print specifications and reflects the craftsmanship Master Machining is known for.
Your Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate various CNC lathe machines
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments
- Read and interpret blueprints, job tickets, and production drawings
- Perform regular machine maintenance and tool adjustments
- Load and indicate parts to fixtures with precision
- Monitor tool wear, replace inserts, and adjust programs as needed
- Collaborate with your team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of CNC lathe machining experience
- Proficient in G-code programming and machine setup
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and measurement tools
- Ability to work within tight tolerances and maintain quality standards
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Willingness to work overtime or Saturdays as needed
- Experience handling both large and small components
