Become a vital part of our printing production team as a 1st Shift Machine Maintenance Technician, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of high-speed printing and packaging equipment.

In this role, you will focus on maintaining and repairing printing production machinery to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Your work supports high-volume print, packaging, and fulfillment processes by ensuring equipment meets manufacturing specifications and production demands.

• LOCATION: Lenexa, KS 66219
• POSITION: Right to Hire
• SCHEDULE: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm
• PAY RATE: $27.00hr

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic inspection, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on mechanical and electromechanical production equipment.
• Disassemble machines, replace worn or broken parts, adjust mechanical components, and restore equipment to operational standards.
• Interpret and follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, and engineering specifications to meet production requirements.
• Clean and lubricate moving parts, order replacement components, and verify repairs meet operational tolerances.
• Adapt tools and procedures to resolve unique equipment issues and assist in solving complex mechanical or electrical problems on the production floor.
• Maintain and troubleshoot low voltage electrical and electronic systems including wiring, motors, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
• Support automation controls and PLC troubleshooting to ensure proper sequencing and operation of production equipment.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of complex production equipment.
• Experience with diagnostic tools such as digital multimeter, clamp meter, continuity tester, non-contact voltage tester, and logic probe.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow technical documentation and engineering specifications.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sheetfed offset printing presses.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing, print, bindery, inserting, packaging, or fulfillment equipment.

Work Environment

• Work involves maintaining complex, high-speed industrial equipment used in printing, finishing, packaging, and mail processing operations.
